Day Twenty to present.

Well last week was a deadline week and I had no time I have hit 220 twice and this morning I was at 221 so it is going good. SLOW but good.

I prolly wont blog alot for a while because I have alot of studying to do.

Day Nineteen

Plan: Low Carb and Exercise

So I have decided I need to set a time line for my total goal. I need to think of something that is attainable, realistic but still motivating. I will keep thinking.

Right now I am studying and trying to stay motivated on that front also. This weekend we get to stay home and chill and I was really thinking about having a "splurge day" on Saturday but now that I am so close to having lost 10 lbs I am not sure I want to do that and then have to start back at 225 or something Sunday or Monday and then spend all of next week getting back to 220. It is still up for debate so we will see.

We are walking again today at lunch so that will be 4 out of 5 days this week which is good. Next week we are starting to do 2 miles in stead of just one.

I really want to do the couch to 5K but that will have to wait until I am through with all the CPA exam test.

Day Eighteen

So since Monday I have been walking a mile at lunch everyday with my secretary. Today she has to run some errands so I will be walking alone. This may suck because I don't have head phones that I know of but I do think I can manage a quick trip to walmart for the office before lunch and get me some.

I ate a little differently yesterday with the sandwhich from McD's and the lean cuisine but this morning when I got on the scale I had lost weight. I think it was from the crazy amount of water I drank. I am going to try to drink the same amount today. Yesterday I was working with my boss a good bit and he just kept talking so I just kept drinking ... maybe I was wishing it was alcoholic...LOL

Anyways here goes for today


Food:
- egg salad (2 boiled eggs, teaspoon of olive oil mayo, relish and some onions)
- coke zero
- beef jerky for lunch
- 10 pastachios
- 2 filet pork chops and green beans
- fudge pop

Well I don't know what the hell is going on but I went from 221.8 on Saturday to 223.4 today!!! I thought at first it was because I did not drink enough this weekend but since Monday I have walked a mile at lunch everyday and drank water like crazy and still went up...I don't know what the deal is so I am going back to super strict I was doing so good and I want to continue.

I will be so glad when this CPA exam crap is over because I will be able to go to the gym. I am so ready to get after the exercise part of this plan more than just walking but I can not afford to do it time wise so walking is the best it will get for now.

Food:
- 1 slice canadian ham
- 2 eggs
- coffee cup of V8
- slice of turkey with cheese, onion, bell pepper, and banana pepper rolled up in it
- mc d's grilled chicken club (oh well)
- london broil with brocolli

Day Fifteen

So Saturday I was 221.8. But Saturday and Sunday I didn't not drink nearly enough water. On Sunday I only had 1 bottle. But I did do pretty good on the food front. I bought my self some new flip flops for a small reward. They are some leather ones and I tried them on but I think I am going to have to give them to Char and get me a smaller size. I guess they stretched out. This weekend was great. Not having to worry about studying and I had Emma all to myself.


It was great.

Day Thirteen

I was so happy this morning when I weighed. I can not believe how great this is going. I am so excited and happy. Watching the numbers falling on the scale really makes all those salads worth it. I am beginning to occasionally get burned out on eating salad all the time.

I am thinking about getting that thing on TV that hooks around the door frame so you can do pull ups and then you can move it to the bottom of the door and hook your feet in it and do sit ups. Of course I can not do any pull ups right now but two weeks ago I didn't think I would have lost 9 lbs by now either.

Ok I should go I have Emma all by myself because Char went back to work this weekend. I am lovin it.

Food:
- one egg over easy with two strips of turkey bacon
- burger patties in a triple whopper (tossed the bread)
- squash and zucinni (sp) slices with humus
- piece of cheese with humus
- canadian ham with cabage, onion, bell peppers and mushrooms
- omlet with onions bell pepers ham and cheese

Day Twelve

This will be short. This morning I weighed 223.4. I lost a little but not much but at least I did not gain. Today I took the BEC section of the exam. I think I did ok on it...We will see. I wont find out for about 2 or 3 months.

Today I got on the scales and only lost .2 lbs....small....but a loss none the less. I am still studying like crazy for my exam. I have to play baby sitter quite frequently with my boss though so that is slowing me down. I am studying cost accounting now and that is probably my weakest skill so I need to focus which is hard to do when every 5 mins I am being beconed to fix a cell phone or change the paper in a printer or whatever tech thing cannot be done independently.

Oh well I feel more prepared for this one than I did the other so that is good. I think this Saturday I am taking Emma to her first football game. I am going to see how the weather is first of course because I don't want her overheating or anything but Char goes back to work this weekend and I AM NOT STAYING IN STUDYING ALL WEEKEND!!! So I thought it would be good to get out with Emma.

Well I am going to close and get to studying.

Food:
- scrabbled eggs with onions, bell peppers, and canadian ham
- coke zero
- salad with shrimp and crab meat on it
- cream of chicken soup
- a few bites of gumbo (felt like eating mud)
